Well written, better than the first

This is much like the first book. Doesnt try to invent anything new. But it's very competent in its writing and while the twist is predictable, it's a really fun read. Def recommend, especially if you're new to space operas.

The book itself moved at at this pace. it is a continuation of book one, and leaves very little resolved, so book 3 is to follow. The thing I disliked in the storyline was the complicatedinvolvement of the "houses." It was sometimes hard to understand why the characters reacted as they did. Also it was never clear how they fit in with the rest of human society.

A great next entry

Story is interesting, at times Star Wars, at times Battlestar Galactica and at times original. It’s a fun listen and will pick up next.
