The narrator did an excellent job at making each character an individual

The was a fast paced story with fun plot twists! I enjoyed the character development, as well.

It was kind of slow in the beginning which made the end feel a little rushed but boy did I love all the twists & turns. The unexpected spiciness & representation was done sooo well. It was suuucccchhhh a good listen & I'll most likely get a physical copy 😂. Honestly I loved how it felt like old England vibes, idk how to explain it but I loved it lol.

KJ Charles + Gothic = Infinite hearts

I love KJ Charles, who’s written some of my top tier favorites, and this lovely little ode to gothic novels is a gem among them. I don’t always love the exes trope, but I think it works superbly here plot-wise.

Great narration, great plot

Another KJ Charles masterpiece, with great narration to bring the story to life. This will be a repeat listen, for sure.

Very interesting

This is my 5th Charles book in a week. Same feel, but the story wasn’t as captivating as I expected. I enjoyed it and the performance was great.
