Perfection

KJ Charles upholds a standard of quality that is truly unmatched. This book is engaging from start to finish and is clearly well researched. While a romance, it has a rich setting and touches on themes of the time that resonate in today’s society as well.

I wish I could give this 6 stars! I hope it is part of a series but am not disappointed if it’s a standalone. The romance was on the lighter side compared to others but it still ended with a solid HFN and I believe in this couple for the long haul.

As with most of this author’s books it will likely be a repeat listen. Speaking of listening, I forget how lovely Cornell Collins’ voice is so that was an extra treat.

Amazing

This is my first KJ Charles book and won’t be my last. I loved every minute. Great story and flow. Collin’s narration is superb!

KJ Charles & Cornell Collins are a match made in heaven! Her writing and his narration always make for a great listen!

Delightful romp

KJ Charles always makes an interesting story leap off the page with characters you fall in love with. A lovely critique of power systems and the people who abuse them, plus two firebrand people set on doing the right thing. Absolutely recommend. And Cornell Collins does a great job narrating.

Charles and Collins at their best!

It’s hard to go on to other authors and narrators after a book like this. The wit, mystery and characters are the best.
