Wow - I didn’t know I needed so many swifite references

Love love love all of it - the grumpy sunshine - the little actions that mean so much! This pulled at my heartstrings & the performance just made the book way better!

Best one in the series

I love Xi! I was hooked from the start and this book was the best in the series (my humble opinion). Swoon worthy.

Daddy issues

XI acts like her dad. she hates her father and loves hating XI. she has trauma but instead of therapy she gets f****d really hard... like degraded but in a sexy way not in a trauma way that her dad gives her.

My favorite in the series

Too be honest I wasn’t even gonna consider listening to this series after the nightmare of book one. But once I found out it the mmc was XI I immediately bought it. This was much more romantic and heartwarming. I liked that Alex grew a back bone and the twist she gave at the end.

Chefs Kiss

I loved this story so much. the good girl/bad boy vibes, the story line, the romance/violence..&& Xi?! Corvin gave another chefs kiss performance. Loved this story and audio so much!

ABSOLUTE PERFECTION

I loved this book and HAD to do reread via audiobook and BOYYYYYY it was SO GOOD. CORVIN did it again 👏🏻 He was just the right amount of growly, broody and sweet that brought Xi to life. HEATHER ALWAYS kills it with just the right amount of emotions that was perfect for Alex. The SMUT and the FILTHY MOUTH on Xi is a WHOLE DIFF EXPERIENCE on audiobook and I was completely SAT.

So ADDICITING!!!

I did not want to stop listening to this story!!! I finished book 1 unsure of the series, tbh but this book blew Beautiful Fiend out the water in my opinion. I’m scared the rest won’t live up to it!!! Xi is soooooo swoon worthy and I’m obsessed. If you want DARK romance with top notch spice AND plot. THIS IS IT!! So well done.

Toxic and Twisted

I didn’t know how much I would love Xi and Alex coming into this one. I enjoyed book 1, but it left me wanting in some ways. So I kind of expected this to do the same.

However, it left me wanting for nothing. Xi and Alex are completely toxic just like I know all couples in this series will be. But I kept rooting for them. I kept waiting to find out when Alex would figure out the truth of it all and the twist at the end had me shook. I caught on to when she found out “the big thing”. But nothing came of it so I assumed I misunderstood. Alex surprised the hell out of me though. Everyone used and abused her, her entire life. But she came out completely on top. I loved the obsession Xi had with her. Even when he broke her heart. I couldn’t stop wanting them to work it out. I loved the brand of toxic and crazy!

I really can’t wait to see the brothers get the story with Jade! I’m loving these in audio!

loving this series on audio!

4.5 ⭐️ Oh snap, that twist! I low key expected something to be up, but certainly not to that extent! I ATE this book up and am loving this series! I knew I loved Xi and his protective side, but I also love how much he helps Alex come alive and to stand up for herself!

The audio is dual narration performed by Corvin King and Heather Firth and I listened to this book so quickly! Loved how perfect they were for these characters!

This story is owning my entire heart and the narration was incredible! Truly, I felt so immersed in this story and felt every emotion on this journey with the characters.
