🏒 Aiden is known as the happy, entertaining Langfield brother, and energetic center for the Boston Bolts, but he’s learning that that comes at a cost. The conversation surrounding mental health in this book was one of my favorite elements. As someone who has struggled with depression and anxiety for many years, I felt so seen.

💗 Lennox Kennedy was just absolutely amazing. At the beginning of the book she was lost and drifting through life, not staying anywhere too long to get attached. Her growth and self discovery throughout this book were inspiring and I felt like a proud friend.

I am such a sucker for second chance romance, and this one was so swoony. Revisiting the past was heartbreaking but made their reunion so much sweeter.

you KNOW there’s going to be fantastic spice in a book by Brittanée! This one was so good. There were times when Lennox felt self conscious as a curvy woman, but Aiden wouldn’t entertain any shyness and I loved that they were both vocal about what they wanted!

The Langfield cameos were amazing. We got to see lots of our favorite couples. The text banter was iconic and hilarious as usual and the whole cast added so much to the story.

Therapy and medication were discussed so openly and without judgement. I truly think this book is going to help so many people feel seen and hopefully reach out for help if they need it ❤️.

Teddy Hamilton & Samantha Brentmoor are two of my favorite narrators, and they truly added so much to this story. I listened to the audiobook as a reread, and I enjoyed it much more the 2nd time around thanks to the way these two brought Aiden and Lennox to life!

Great narration

The narration on this book is top notch! I also love the cover, it’s so cute. Second chance romance is not my favorite trope but I still enjoyed this story. I love the big friend/family group dynamic all these characters have. There are so many great side characters, I will have to check out more books by this author to learn more.

Great discussion about depression

This book was very HOT, but also had real life stuff like depression, family troubles, and pain. It was very entertaining!! Highly recommend!

Just perfect!

Where to begin with this book. The book pulls you in sure there are some spicy moments but the story is so beautiful and strong. There’s true love and obstacles to overcome with every word spoken I was pulled deeper into the story!

I love that they talk openly about struggling with depression and how hard they worked to overcome it this shows you that even the stars that shine the brightest have moments in dark.

Give this book a read it’s beyond worth it!!

Really good book

I really liked this story and hitting all the points about depression was amazing. Showing how depression doesn’t mean it comes from one thing bad that happened in your life but that it can just “be”. The ending was great and I’m glad I bought this book.
