My heart hurt so much through this book.

Two broken souls: one who feels unloved, and another as though he's irrevocably broken but completely delusional as to why. I was lost in the depths of this book, and even though it had hot and steamy scenes, the emotion poured into it could be felt in each and every word, each scene. I've never been one to enjoy BDSM books, not the "true" BDSM scene, but CD Reiss and the spectacular narrators pull you into the world and make you think of the impossible. Contemplate a world outside of your comfort zone and how it affects a person.
It's a story of love and passion and what it takes to get there. I snapped up book two as soon as I finished Marriage Games.
I will say, there will be times that you might want to throat-punch Adam, but give him a chance. I adore him. Five fantabulous stars!

Fantastic Prose

My favorite part of this book was the writing itself. Most books like this focus on one category. This one had a little bit of everything including excellent writing and excellent development. Of course the sex was great but the writing was superb.

Amazing book

I loved this book...it sucked me in so deep I became emotionally attached! At the end I was so hurt got D I had to continue to the next book!

intense, complex, human

What was one of the most memorable moments of Marriage Games?

When Adam made sure she was ok at the club.

Have you listened to any of Elena Wolfe and Sebastian York ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes to SebYo, no to Elena Wolfe's. His other performance wasn't this intense. I think I prefer him with comedic timing.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Neither. But I did have an extreme reaction. I don't like Diana as a character. She's flawlessly written, but I found her weak and judgmental and I dislike that inherently about her, and she is cruel. She didn't care that her thoughtlessness hurt her husband, he loved her.

What did you love best about Marriage Games?

I was challenged by its writing that felt so complex for me.
It was a very well written book that had me think twice about every line I read.

The storyline was amazing as well.

Who was your favorite character and why?

ADAM!!!
Everything that he did and went through to get Diane back.
To show her who he really was and that he was hiding it all from her in belief that was what she wanted and needed from him.

Which scene was your favorite?

I simply can not pick just one.
I love too many.

If you could take any character from Marriage Games out to dinner, who would it be and why?

This is clear as the day itself....ADAM :)
