Fantastic Voice Acting, Intriguing World

Characters are unique and interesting. The relationship building is a little rushed but I didn’t mind it. World is deep and shallow but in a mysterious explains the magic system kind of way. Tristan and Jessica put on masterful performance.

Great VA performances, great concept, great setting but...pretty big plot holes regarding the origins and extinction of humans in the world pre-MC.

Maybe I'm reading too much into a smut book though.

not bad

so this book kept on coming back up and up whenever they were recommend books for me and I didn't think I'd like it but it's not that bad of a book I actually like those reverse portal books where somebody from our world gets sent to another one it's really not that bad of a book kind of quirky and it's almost like The Slice of Life fantasy

Magnetic and intriguing

I liked everything about this well written world and story 👏. Got pulled right in from the first listen of the sample of this adventure. Glad there's other titles from Leon Thanks!

Chill Slice of Life fantasy and not too much heat.

If your looking for a story that stops and smells the flowers, but doesn't loiter then you will find the pacing excellent. Story pacing can be very subjective depending on the listener but I found it personally satisfying. It doesn't drag on with unimportant bits and lingers long enough with scenes and characters to really let you feel like your there and get to soak it all in.

If your looking for a story that focuses more on the "daily" and not non-stop action then you'll love this one. I'd say 70/20 mix of chill versus intense moments. So the story is more laid back and isn't a stress fest. Great if your just wanting to relax and check out for an adult story that won't turn into a SAW spinoff or become too explicit. If your thinking 70+20=90 your right...

The final %10 of the story is the spicy bits. Some adult novels can quickly turn into torture porn and others are straight up porn. But this one focuses on the daily life, world building, fleshing out characters, with the occasional danger. I am so glad is was able to find a story that uses the spicy scenes as a garnish to enhance the narrative rather than replace it or go full war criminal with the story.

If you want a story that is focused more on characters and worldbuilding that doesnt go hard in the paint with sex and violence then this is the one for you. Grab some snacks and relax...
