Good Story

A good story to just relax to. The pacing is better than in other stories by the author. Performances are great. Nothing crazy that sets it apart, but that doesn't mean it's not well written. It's a great series to enjoy a lazy afternoon/evening to.

Priorities notwithstanding.

It's your typical zero to hero story with a ton of luck with the ladies. Emphasis on the luck. The setting is mildly interesting, main character is decent but forgets what he is a bit too much. Battles are uninspired and oddly paced. The voice acting is decent, though the "songs" get annoying and every once in a while the male reader will squeak out a female line in a jarring way.

My biggest criticism is the complete lack of priorities by the MC and his group. A massive evil is determined to snuff you out... let's build a coop and a new cabin. Honestly the story would have been much better as a (nearly) complete slice of life without a big bad.

31 chapters and no action at all.

this story has no action at all. it seems like it's just a love story. there's barely even any magic. very disappointed. What the hell is with all these authors that have this control issue with women? Are they all pansies living in their mom's basement? They always feel the need to have to control the female character, not giving them what they want, making them beg. It's so frustrating every single author that writes this kind of story. Has a control issue with women? Which leads me to believe that they don't get any women. So they have to feel in control somehow, and this is how they do it, it's pathetic.
