A wonderful escape!!!

An outstanding series with great voice acting! The two actors really synchronized well together for an unforgettable delivery of this great story.

The MC maintains his strong moral foundation by going out of his way to make everyone more comfortable with defining situations while also not taking advantage of them (even though most encounters want exactly that!).

The side characters play a pistol role in bringing up our hero and ensuring his many successes.

All in all, the author really hit this one out of the park!

GOBO

So the start was a good way to jump into the magical world. The sex scenes were phenomenal in detail and desire. 😍. The battles were a bit so-so but that's to be expected. Knowledge is power and truly caring about your citizens to increase your own level was interesting for a bit of world building. Going to see what other stories are similar to this

it wasn't bad

I guess my only real gripe was some story and character issues... the narration wasn't bad just a flat im some areas. all in all worth the credit.

I was genuinely sad when this ended. I hope they make more. This was a very fulfilling read/listen

nice read

very good read. unique takes on magical beast and persons. there was some well written romance, great action, unique places and comedy appropriately spread out. there is so much in this series, it enhances the read without letting it stagnate. I'll be reading again in the future.

So close to being just all round awesome

The first and the second books were great, but the third book started struggling on the details that made the first and second books so enjoyable. I'm guessing they were under a time crunch or they burned out because the third book really suffered in consistency of details etc. If not for that in the third book, even with some loose ends and somewhat rushed ending i would've given it 5 stars (for my enjoyment with the series).

Then the Voice actors, they did pretty alright (especially on the first n second books), but the third book once again somewhat ruined the experience for me as the quality for that really went downhill the most in this department, the pauses absolutely ruin audiobooks and this is no exception, i guess the editors were either green or under a time crunch, because man, those pauses just between sentences (or even in the middle) were so long they REALLY shouldn't be a thing in any circumstance.

The Female VA kind of ran out of voices with the amount of characters needing a voice, most of the characters were just some flavor British at the end(characters that got introduced later), it got quite confusing. Besides that, it had emotion and it fit the characters most of the time, good job.

The Male VA while not bad, didn't lean in so to say into emotions like eight out of ten times, once again, it's good in most ways, but in emotional scenes his flat delivery kind of just sucked me out of the story, which confused me as some of the scenes had the emotion and delivery well done. Especially the part with the human king, oh my god that was so cringe to listen to, the pauses and the flat delivery, that was the worst experience of the whole book in my opinion. The range of characters he had to voice wasn't that big either so can't really say much there. If not for the inconsistent emotion in delivery,it would've been a great.

So yeah, besides these things that most people can probably ignore, it was pretty good. I'm not leaving this to hate on the people who worked on this, it's just criticism for improvement, at least i hope so.

Worth the credit for 38h of goodness for sure.

I didn't really like the stat sheet readings and made things a little to boring and had to skip alot.

I really enjoyed this series. Great value three bucks for one credit. This series had just the right amount of stats. Too many books spend more time with stats and the repetitiveness of them distracts from the story itself. Also, the authors did a really good job town building. So glad I checked out the series.

exceptional narration

Overall great. Story is fun. Some spots were ( to me ) awkward, but the narrator pulled it off. I recommend this. I am going to look for another book narrated by Mandy.
