Meh....

I cannot listen to Wen Ross anymore. He always sounds like he's slightly holding his breath and forcing every emotion. The story was ok but, I'm not sure I'll continue with the series.

Alessandro & Emilia

Face paced and plenty of sex scenes.
Alessandro is mafia, rich, powerful and makes an agreement with Emilia’s grandfather to marry and protect his granddaughter and her wealth.
He doesn’t want to project romantic feelings towards her, believes in control, BDSM, sexual submission for obedience.
Emilia is naïve about her grandfather’s life and now is thrust into another world when he is murdered.
I think Alessandro is bipolar and definitely gives you whiplash with his punishments and how inconsiderate he was to her on their wedding night and the days after.
