Power is returning to the world after millennia, ancient constructs are stirring back to life, and one man is doing his best to ignore all that noise.

Fischer has everything he needs in life: blossoming friendships, a menagerie of cute animal companions, a waterfront property with easy access to fishing, and enough coffee to take out a small elephant or a really big dog.

Unfortunately, Fischer can’t catch a break. Cosmic forces? Still throwing curveballs. The bigwigs in the capital? Starting to sniff around his business. Cults? Still culting. Plus, awakened beings are washing up on his shores like flotsam after a storm. And worst of all? His coffee guy ghosted him!

It’s a lot for one heretical fisherman to handle. Thankfully, Fischer isn’t alone. Between his trusty guard crab, a mischievous otter who can wreathe herself in lightning, and an adorable bunny eager to solve every problem with a roundhouse kick, he’ll be just fine . . . probably.

The second volume of the laugh-out-loud LitRPG adventure series—a #1 Rising Star on Royal Road with more than three million views—now available on Kindle, Kindle Unlimited, and Audible!

Reseñas de la Crítica

“I can’t think of a single story I’d rather get truck-kun’d (truck-kunned?) into than [that of] the vivid, lush world portrayed in Heretical Fishing, especially if I can hang out with Fischer and his gang. . . . The best book I’ve read this year.” —Matt Dinniman, author of Dungeon Crawler Carl

Cute first story, this one the interminable sexual tension between MC and ingenue was rough. Lots of boring stretches too. Also zero about how the cultivators “learn” combat? All the sudden they can take down enemies with coordinated attacks? Still fun, but getting weaker.

The schtick is wearing thin

I couldn’t bring myself to give this any less than a 5/5, but all the same;
“Bent in half” “Mmm” “Bent in half” “Mmm” “Bent in half” “Mmm”

Please stop (T^T)

I still love the characters and most of the story overall. the progression is good. it's just personal preference. it's just more cultivator now then heretical fishing with animal pals.

mostly good follow up

Pretty awesome book. I love the premise and it’s pretty funny. If you enjoyed he who fights with monsters you’ll like this one. Give it a listen

Great book

Just a fun listen. Following the characters and building on the world from the first book.
