Great story line and narrators

Good handling of very frightening but real things that happen too frequently in too many women's lives. also good primary story line.. Looking forward to more Havens stories.

Really liked it

To me this is a great balance of romance a little suspense and small town charm.

Zachary is a wild child. Never wanting to settle down because the girl of his dreams he blew it with a kind time ago. That is until an accident that puts all things into perspective. Now he will stop at nothing to make her his.

Marigold is a book worm. She has always had her head in the clouds dreaming of mister perfect. A handsome rich man comes into town and sweeps her off her feet. She is caught up in the “idea” or him that she might be overlooking some red flags. Is he her Me. Darcy? Or is he hiding something dark?

Who will she end up with? What will happen to her?

Liked it… at time pretty predictable but that does not bother me. In fact I am marking this author as a cozy author… makes me feel happy when I finish.

Zachary

Zachary's character was so amusing and entertaining. He has that "You gotta love him!" quality that keeps you engaged. His voice kept me captivated in the story. Marigold was also endearing. Definitely a worthwhile listen.

Mysterious and fun!

I loved this audiobook! At first, the dual storylines had me curious, but they come together seamlessly in a way that’s both satisfying and impactful.

The story does include a sensitive theme - human trafficking, but it is handled with care and add real weight to the plot.

I especially loved Zachary — the MMC is impulsive, loyal, and full of charm. The romance hits all the right tropes: best friend’s brother, childhood friends to lovers, and even a touch of love triangle drama. The pacing is strong, the stakes feel real, and I was invested from start to finish! Highly recommend for fans of romantic suspense with substance.

Great Story, Witty Banter

Zachary is a very fun loving character. This whole series is great! But I laughed a lot. The male narrator was perfect for Zachary!
