Oh my goodness!! Love this book sooooooo hard!! This is definitely one of my favorite CK books and I love them all haha.

Garret and Harper are everything!! Their love story is fun, sweet, funny and face paced. Mystery and suspense thrown in. Who doesn’t love a hot cinnamon roll alpha who will do anything to protect his lady? Bad luck and all it’s a great ride!

Owen is such a great character and needs to be protected at all costs! I hope when he’s all grown up he get his own book 😉

Good Story, Great Narration

I enjoyed this book, and I have really liked this series so far.
But when I saw that Garrett was getting his book and him being a single dad, I couldn't not read it.

Garrett is the single dad, and he wears a uniform! You had me from the start with this man. He has such a kind heart, and I really liked his work ethic. He didn't give up.
Harper is a baker and makes the best cookies. I enjoyed the descriptions of her baked goods. She is sweet and kind, I loved the way she took to Owen (Garrett's son) right away. She is a great character.

This audio is really good. I loved it more because of the narrators than anything. When you have a great narrator reading the story, it makes the book even better. And that is what happened with this one. Jason is amazing as always, and I have loved listening to more of Rose's work. These two are great together, and the flow was perfect.

I like this world and will wait for the next book to come to audio...

Cop and Baker : Garrett and Harper. Attraction , Oops , Baby ; love , laughs, big family and let’s s not forget Owen the officers son , he stole the show and my heart. Theres a whole lot of suspense. Cop opens cold case and all hell breaks. So good , nail biting , goosebumps ,fear and heart palpitations. I was a total wreck lol. A very great read/listen ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Jason Clarke and Rose Diogo were Fantastic! 👏🏻👏🏻

Each book better than the one before

Excellent story, with a twist you might not see coming. Two of my favorite narrators too. Don’t miss this one!

Very lovable characters

What stood out most? I love these characters, the push, the pull, the tension and the joy. What made this better than ‘the usual’ was full, immediate communications. Too many authors rely heavily on ‘failure to communicate’ for suspense. It was refreshing that these characters did not second guess themselves or get sidetracked. I didn’t once feel compelled to rant “just tell him!!!”

Oh the temptations!

What a masterful blend of thrilling and riveting suspense, swoon, love, witty banter, intense passion, spice, humor, and criminal intrigue!
Harper and Garrett are a match made in romantic suspense lovers heaven, and Temptation Trails was simply unputdownable.
Add an adorable teen, matchmaking aunties, large family and engaging (sometimes mischievous) community, and you get the best immersive story telling experience! Oh! And let’s not forget the squirrels!
I devoured Temptation Trails in one sitting, teetering on the edge of my seat - a testament to the author’s skill and ability to keep us transfixed until the final word.
The narration was phenomenal, it provided an added dimension, and allowed me to immerse myself in the story.
I wholeheartedly recommend this suspenseful masterpiece to anyone who enjoys a superb romantic thriller!

Does not disappoint!

I really like Claire Kingsley’s suspense romance series so was glad to see this new addition to the Havens. This one was excellent. I RARELY rate a 5. It kept my attention every minute. a Kingsley book with jason Clarke is an immediate buy for me, but both narrators were excellent and I truly didn’t know who the perp was until the end. It makes me want to listen to the first 2 in the series again…

Audio Review:
These narrators do a fantastic job with this book. They make sure all the emotion is right there in their voices. They add a unique inflection when voicing other characters in a scene. I loved how both portrayed our leads.

Book Review:
One thing I love about this series is how each brother's romantic timeline varies just enough. Garrett isn't looking for love. He is fairly on the side of 'not worth the effort' but he also isn't extremely hard headed once the romance presents itself as potentially life changing. I loved how he was with his family and his son. He shows he's the boy scout while also accepting he can't control everything and get it all right. I was SO frustrated at some of the turns coming for him but obviously it worked out in the end.

Harper was so refreshing. She was light-hearted but also took things seriously. She has her silly reasons for some things but doesn't become a self-fulfilling prophecy. Her relationship with Owen and the wives was fun and impactful. She got a lot of closure in this book and I was happy for it.

I love how the suspense is playing out in these books. This one was frustrating (on behalf of the characters) and there are some red herrings. Above it all, the plot and romance are balanced. I hate a romantic suspense that sacrifices either for the other, so this was great!

I loved the chosen narrators for these characters! They did a wonderful job becoming these characters and selling the plot and they immediately captured my ears and heart from beginning to end.

I loved the flow of the plot, the main and side characters, the small-town feel, and the murder/mystery suspense. Add the whole single dad and the superstitious fmc and this story got devoured in one day.
