An alien AI called the System had taken over Earth and transformed his apartment building into a 100-floor dungeon tower of traps, monsters, and loot. Trapped at the top, Lucas and the other residents have just one year to reach the ground floor and escape before the tower self-destructs.

That’s his first problem.

The second is he slept through the System’s welcome orientation, so a Class was picked for him. Lucas is now a Blood Reaver. A brutal Class based on speed, ferocity, and striking from the shadows. He’s expected not to just defeat his enemies, but to slaughter them and bathe in their blood. Their blood is now his power.

Outraged at being invaded, Lucas vows to grow stronger and take back his world. He will not only survive but thrive as he carves a bloody path to freedom.

a good litrpg book with a interesting world build

ever just have a dead sleep and miss super important messages? well, that's the main character! lol he has to make best with given "gifts" in a apocalypse style world. I can't say more on that or spoil the goods
the narration is well done and in a voice that can be made out well with good audio
the main character has his flaws that make it interesting to see what he will do with a mess of different elements agenst him and friends/allys the ending? well that makes me impatient to get the next book can't wait

Wow this book is really fast paced. From start to finish, it just goes for an adventure.

I loved the interaction the main character had with the system itself and the skill progression system. definitely a very good listen.

This main character was all over the place with powers and skills and it was awesome! Can’t wait to listen to the next book!

A pleasant surprise

Took a chance and was not disappointed. Good story, unique build for MC, unique companion, and wonderfully tied together with solid narration. Looking forward to book 2.
