My screw up wakes Geo, a duty-bound gargoyle who senses danger to his destined mate—me.

But he’s not the only one watching my back. I team up with Benjamin Cross, an enigmatic guy with a killer smile, who is searching for his lost little brother in all of this mess.

Yet the most mysterious man of all is Phaeron, the dimensional I freed. He claims he isn’t responsible for the murders across campus. If that’s true, then who is?

I must find out before anyone else is hurt and I’m expelled. Spare a little luck my way, I’m still in my first semester.

This is the first book in a medium burn, fated mates, enemies-to-lovers series with a strong heroine who doesn’t have to choose between her three love interests. It is recommended for mature listeners.

Interesting

Moves along nicely. I had it playing all day and finished it as I went about my home and self care.

the first half was kinda fun but the rest was horribly predictable and bland. its fine

Forgettable

It is perfectly forgettable in that I had to go read other reviews to remember the details of the story because I forgot to review it after I read it. It wasn't bad, just something I wont read again. Good for say a junior high audience, it has decent pacing and a little intrigue. I found it predictable and a little boring as an adult that enjoys a variety of genres.

The male narrator was terrible.

I just couldn’t even focus the story. The male narrator was sooo bad that I couldn’t take it anymore and stop listening it.

Great story, great narrators

This reads a little YA (definitely not YA!) but it’s such a fun world. I could not stop listening! I love the voices and voice effects, it really elevated the story and made it even more exciting. Sometimes books with too many species of characters and magical divisions aren’t done right but this one is perfect!
