Steamy Curvy Girl Office Romance—Fiction

I knew sleeping with my boss would be dicey…it could change everything.

CEO Thomas Vail, a quiet, no-nonsense man, knows what he wants when he sees it.

He recently found out his ex was keeping his son from him.

I barely got my name out when he hired me on the spot, as his assistant.

Maybe it was my curvy silhouette.

I felt the panic in his eyes when he asked me to stay and help with his son. I couldn’t say no.

We had a professional relationship; nothing can happen between us—like he hinted.

His grip was dominating, his lips engulfed my body, I held tight to his body...I was such a rule-breaker.

Laying the little one down, kissing his head, for a split moment I felt like a family.

I need to update my resume, single daddy needs more than an assistant…

Boss's Innocent Assistant!

This is a short and quick listen/read. I enjoyed the narration of the story. The narrator really did a good job bring the characters and story to life. The story is about Thomas and Ellie. She is his personal assistant. When he suddenly finds out he is a dad and has a boy to take care of, he needs immediate help. Things start occurring that put them in harms way; sabotaging transportation and gunmen. This is leads to them seeing each other in a different and steamy way. This is a good story with some surprises, suspense, passion, entertaining bits and more.

Thomas and Ellie

Ellie is an executive assistant. One day a women shows up with a baby, asking for her boss Thomas. She overhears their discussion. The lady told Thomas “surprise, you’re a dad, and here, keep the baby. She is getting married, and her husband does not want the child. Ellie helps Thomas with the baby as he works out care and custody. Hen strange things happen. Someone sabotaged their plan, causing them to crash in the mountains. Next there is a gun men at the court house while they were there for a custody hearing. Thomas and Ellie find they are drawn to each other, and end up with a hot night that turns into more. It was a good story. I would love to listen to more stories by this author. The story moved at a good pace, and was entertaining. The narration was well done, and a pleasure to listen to. Good story

The story is captivating from the start. Mix in the heat from the main characters with the intrigue of who is trying to hurt them to get a book worth listening too or reading.

The narrator did a very good job bringing the words to life.

Doesn’t Quite Add Up

I strongly dislike it when a book's title, cover, and description deliberately mislead the potential future reader astray about the book, probably hoping to snare readers who wouldn't normally pick up this type of book. Let me spell out how these elements are not true to the story. First, in no way would I call the heroine in this story “innocent.” Perhaps because I'm usually more of a reader of or listener to historical romance, my mind flashed to the definition more typically used in those books. She may be more innocent relative to the hero, but in the classic sense of the word, she is no innocent. The cover gives the vibe that this will be more steamy than it actually is. It is somewhat steamy—though, to me, often more “ick” than “yum”--but certainly nowhere was the sultry vibe of the cover within the text. When I reread the description before writing this review, my initial thoughts were: “Did I just read THIS book?” The description is so different from the reality of the story, starting with the heroine being the hero's employee for far longer than when he found out he had a child with a former lover. The rest of the book is not about what it says, either. Instead, the non-romance focus is on that ex-lover and what will happen with their child's custody. The author has someone clumsily woven in elements of addiction—and I can say “clumsily” with some authority because I'm an addictions nurse at a detox facility—shadowy threats, and kidnapping. This is a novella, 2 hours long and some change in audiobook format, and this didn't allow any time for characterization or plot to develop naturally. Elements felt forced, and the whole kidnapping arc just felt as though it was grafted on, not fully integrated into the plot. As you may be able to tell, I was somewhat disappointed by this book.

Short story

What else would you love in a story?
Boss and assistant have a secret attraction with each other, but don’t act on it until danger is following them.
Add an adorable baby, danger, kidnapping, 🔥 sex, makes this an interesting story to listen to.

Thomas and Ellie

This is a great happily ever after story. Thomas is Eleanor's boss. His ex drops off a baby and Thomas requests the help of Eleanor to take care of him. This story has a lot of danger and I couldn't put it down.

This story was so stupid it didn’t make any sense on top of that. They were making up stupid drama this bullshit don’t happen on top of the fact that it may be a story and picture it all but I’ve never heard anything more stupid than a drunk drugged up mother Calling bomb threats.
