Wow

This was a ALC for and a first read of this author and these narrators. I really wasn’t pulled in with the female narrator aiden snow did a amazing job. The plot was intense and the spice was on point.

Intoxication is the start of the Serendipity series, so buckle up and hang on for this ride! Check the trigger warnings before starting this one as it is dark, but oh so good. Sianna has rotten luck and what luck she does have seems to be bad. When a few chance encounters with Drake (Prince) Princeton, billionaire CEO and older man, leads to a night of serious passion, her walking away is hard. Years later, she finds someone special and when introduced to his family...uh, hello Mr. Princeton. Awkward... This age-gap, taboo, secret-keeping beauty of a story just hit all my feels. There is cheating, but somehow it draws you in to suffer through it. All the characters were enjoyable to me and I can't wait to get the rest of the stories!

The narration was absolute perfection. Aiden Snow was THE PERFECT Drake and a solid gold performance as usual. Yami Habibi is fairly new to me as is Connor Hayes. This trio really made the story come to life for me.

Intoxication

This is the first book in the Serendipity series. This series is full of stand-alone books that are best read in order to really get the most from them. This book starts off when Sianna’s life just keeps trying to bring her down. While she is experiencing some of the worst luck, she meets a gentleman who completely takes her breath away. Prince is mid-forties and should not be so intrigued by such a young woman like Sianna. They cross paths several times when he finally makes her an offer. They spend an incredible night together. She leaves never to be seen again. Then three years later Sianna starts dating a man closer to her age and goes home over the holidays to meet his family. That is when everything changes. This book does deal with cheating and a few other TW. This book is so much more than just and age gap/ second chance romance. I loved it and can’t wait for more. Yami Habibi, Aiden Snow, and Connor Hayes all did a fantastic job narrating this book.

I love going into books completely blind! I didn’t even read the summary and I’m glad I didn’t!

Sianna is down on her luck when she has a chance encounter with Drake, first in the airport, then when getting out of a cab, then at a bar. They’re drawn to each other is instantaneous.

He’s in a loveless arranged marriage and has put his children above himself for the past 20+ years, resigning himself to the fact that he’ll never have love. That is until Sianna literally falls right in front of him.

After one night together, he’s ready to ask her to give it a go. But she disappears without a way for him to find her. He doesn’t even know her last night.

Until two years later when he returns home for Christmas…

This book starts off with spice! It’s written well and really helps you get into the minds, feelings, and sensations the characters are experiencing. There’s great tension and lots of angst because their romance suddenly becomes forbidden. Drake can’t have her without hurting someone else he loves.

The attraction between the two is intense and it was entertaining to see who would figure out their longing for each other. And holy bomb drops near the end!

The narrators were fantastic! I signed up for the ALC because of Aiden Snow but Yami Habibi and Connor Hayes were excellent as well! Highly recommend the audiobook!

Amazing

I've been a fan of Charlene's books from the beginning, and now listening is fantastic; the voices are perfect for them.
I recommend it 100%

The Heart Wants What It Wants

The heart loves who the heart loves.  But what’s a woman to do when her head and heart go to war? 

Sianna finds herself in a love triangle. One seems to be the perfectly chosen path. The other is the path that feels like a HEA. Unfortunately, she’s wanted by both her fiancée and futurebfather-in-law. 

Rayden has tried to be the man Sianna wants. But in walks Drake, his father, and all semblance of reason goes out the door for Drake and Sianna. And Drake has always tried to be the backbone of the family, honor and respect.

But alas, the hearts won for Sianna and Drake. Rayden carries on dutifully. But it’s not the end for him thankfully.

While this is a sensitive topic, please read with an open mind and refrain from judging until you know their story.

The trio of narrators were well chosen. Each took me on a journey of feelings. They allowed me to become part of the story. The indecision, happiness, hurt, longing...an emotional rollercoaster they allowed me to ride.

Great Listen🤍🤍

Listening to this made the story come to life. I already loved Drake but hearing his voice has made me swoon even harder.

Sia sounded a little older than I thought but she still did Sia justice and portrayed her perfectly.
Rayden voice was so yummy and everything I pictured. When he spoke I felt as if I was right there next time him.

This whole book was great to listen to and it has made me want to reread the book.

Can’t wait to hear the other rest of this series.

Intriguing & Intoxicating! Amazing Story & Listen

This is my first Charlene Namdhari book and consider me impressed by her writing style and the interesting storylines she created. I was told it was best to go into this story knowing as little as possible and with an open mind, and I am glad I did. The story grabbed my attention right immediately and held it captive straight to the end. The characters are realistic, easy to relate to and connect with, they were intriguing too. I adored the main characters Sianna and Drake and the unexplainable chemistry they shared. They had several chance encounters at different locations, brief encounters but memorable ones. When they meet again he is determined to have her and propositions her, but he does not know if she will take him up on it. Sianna is younger than him, but she is not like any woman he ever met and despite the short time knowing her, he knows he wants her. He was ecstatic when she showed up and had the best time of his life with her. He had more plans with her except she left him, without a number or last name. Sianna had her reasons and as much as it hurt her to she needed to move on, from him, her aunt and make a life for herself. Then she meets another, builds a wonderful relationship, but struggles with falling in love because she lost her heart to Drake. But fate was not finished with her and he comes back into her life, and she was not sure what to think about seeing him again. I loved the complexity of the characters and the layers of the story and its originality. The wonderfully plotted story has plenty of drama, a touch of angst, some twists and turns, heartfelt emotions and steamy romance. Charlene Namdhari, thank you for this amazing story and emotional rollercoaster ride. 

🎧📚🎧And for the amazing narration, Aiden Snow, Connor Hayes and Yami Habibi were the perfect cast to bring these characters and story to life. They had a complete understanding of the characters they were portraying, giving each a voice that suited that character’s persona and was believable in every role they played. They set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the characters’ emotional and had you feeling each one. These entertaining storytellers are versatile voice artists and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for this fantastic listen.

Prince and his Princess

Sia, Drake and Rayden's meet under several chance encounters giving this story many twist and turns for us to navigate. While there are many revolutions in this book I can not wait to see where these things end up taking us as the storylines progress. The little tidbits that will bring us into the next books in the series were beautifully placed and I personally can not wait to read more in Incognito. There are a number of characters I hope Charlene will explore just based on this first book. Aiden, Connor and Yami all did an amazing job bringing their voice to these awesome characters. I love when I can recommend an amazing audiobook to others and this series will definitely be added to that list.

INTOXICATION is one of the few 🌶️ 🥵 books that I have listened to that actually has a good story line.
