Unhinged

This is definitely a different story than I’m used to reading! That being said, I honestly enjoyed it. It was short, which I knew, but I did find myself wishing it were longer. Overall, I thought it was good and different; I could see how it could be out of someone’s comfort zone. It kept my attention from start to finish. I can’t say I’m mad I read it. Worth the read at least once!

Sweet Romance with Spice!

This was a surprisingly sweet romance with spice. A door is in love with his human occupant and finds a way to become real in order to protect her from a threat. While you can read this short book, you really need to listen to it on audiobook, door effects and all. Narrator Richard Pendragon’s gorgeous voice fits perfectly. Drys the door is a real sweetheart.

SPOILERS BEFORE CHAPTER 1?

There’s about a minute of legal stuff an AI bashing which is fine but something it does not alert the listener to is the spoilers! RIGHT BEFORE CHAPTER 1, the entire plot is told to you. No warning! The narrator just says it. It was so sad. I died a little inside. The story was good but the spoiler in the beginning ruined it. Put that at the end.

Who knew doors had feelings?

I laughed so hard at this omg. I knew from the description that this was going to break my brain but I was not prepared for this level of perplexity. The erotic door sounds took me out completely, I cackled.

Funny quick listen!

It was a fun listen TBH! A lot going on for how short it is but I would read it again! I enjoyed it!

I can’t say I’ve ever been turned on by a door before but…uh…here we are…

You just have to listen

If you haven't seen tik toks of this book, you are missing out! I don't even know how to begin other than this is one of the most creative authors I have ever come across. This story is crazy but it hooks you and you have to know how it ends I hope it doesn't offend the author by saying this book gave me some of the best laughs and messages back and forth with friends I made read it. If you want something completely different or in need of a good laugh get this book! I also think this would make an excellent book for a book club!

Wanted More?

I feel like I wanted more lore from this world. It is what you read in the description. Door wants woman. Princess and the frog situation can make door turn real but with more requirements.

New favorite genre

Sentient object romance with sound effects is something I didn't know I wanted but need more of. Such a fun, silly, and sexy romance. Easy to listen to and the sound effects makes it so much better.
