Thirty years later, though, these five women have complicated, important, distant, and utterly packed lives. The last thing any of them can do is drop everything and save the inn. But, when it comes to family, the last thing is sometimes the only thing.

One by one, each of the cousins arrives in Emerald Bay with armloads of excuses and far too much baggage. When the town's grumpy—yet oh, so handsome—mayor threatens to close the inn for good, the women agree to give the resort the overhaul it desperately needs. Working with a bank account that's far too small and facing one crisis after another, Margaret's daughter and nieces race to fulfill her final wish. Only one question remains: Can this fractured family set aside their differences long enough to restore the inn and rebuild the closeness they once treasured?

EXCELLENT

Loved the storyline of cousins getting it together almost like sisters to work together leaving their bustling lives, some good some bad behind and rallying behind their aunt to save the family inn. EXCELLENT series premise. Narrator good.

Such a great book to sit and listen to this summer. Looking forward to reading the next in the series.

Story was good. I liked the story line and the character development. I didn’t expect to listen to the whole series but I just might.

What I loved 100%

I absolutely loved it “CLEAN’ realistic family love, commitment, dedication, and most importantly to me as a reader IS Its very clean. No demontestic practices spirit practice ghost etc. No foul language and No sexual innuendo! I will most likely get and or listen to the entire series!

it dragged some but it was worth waiting till end. I liked how somehow everyone was able to make their way to the cove

Great Book

This was such a well written book. I am excited to read the second one.

Laying the groundwork for the series sure made for a lot of back story. Hope it’s worth it…

Complex story. Hope it’s not so confusing in next book. I’ll bite one more time I guess! Have too many relatives to keep track of 😂⁉️
