When Ann Rutherford's husband dumps her for the bimbo in his office, unfairly leaving her without a home or a job, she reluctantly joins forces with Rhonda DelMonte to convert Rhonda's Florida seaside estate into the small upscale hotel it once was. Ann, quiet and reserved, is no match for brash, bossy Rhonda, who left the family's New Jersey butcher business after she won the Florida lottery. Amid their struggles to succeed, "The Sins of the Children", a soap opera, films a number of episodes at the hotel and things get complicated in unexpected ways when Ann falls for Vaughn Sanders, the star of the show.

Would you consider the audio edition of Breakfast at the Beach House Hotel to be better than the print version?
I really enjoyed both editions. The audio edition really brought the characters to life. Also, it is convenient to be able to pause, and continue during the audio.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Rhonda really stands out. She is such a brash, but lovely character. She tells it like it is, so to speak. She has a big heart, and really protects those she loves.Which character – as performed by Angela Dawe – was your favorite?
I cannot choose a favorite character by the performance of Angela Dawe. She portrayed each character exactly as they were in the print version. She is so talented in her craft. If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
A Beautiful Banquet of Beachy DelightAny additional comments?
This book will appeal to anyone who enjoys the beach, sunsets, gourmet food, and love. The setting is truly a unique experience in itself. I could picture it, in my mind, and yearned to be there.

Breakfast at the Beach House Hotel is a light contemporary romance story about a divorced middle aged woman down on her luck and needing to start over. The story provides the struggles of starting a business and dating as a new single. Like I mentioned, this is a light story meaning feelings are discussed and there are moments when you're swept in emotionally but most of the time you're just an observer in this story. For me, today, while dealing with the the impending death of a loved one, this book was perfect; kind of like a Hallmark movie.A place I'd like to visit!

I am a devoted fan of Ms Dawe so tried this new author for me. Not so sure if this trilogy is my cup of tea. If you like an author who makes the heroine persevere through flood waters, then this is for you. Of course this author has a secondary character eg Ronda, who every woman in their right mine would love to have at their back.
Of course there are the appropriate villains you would love to give a right hook to the jaw. So this author can get your blood flowing as our heroine team proceeds to seek their new dream.
Not sure if l personally like this much diet of “l’ll show him”. Some of the story smacked of Pretty Woman, and some of it just seemed like author’s personal diary of running a boutique hotel.
Me Dawe does a wonderful job of putting you in your own cottage on the beach.
