Loved this book

I enjoy reading all of Irene Hannon's books, but this one was very heart touching. It's my favorite so far.

Therese Plummer is the best narrarator around. She can make the right emotions flow with words and her voices are amazing!! I tend to listen to books where she is the narrarator as she is the best around!!

Great Start to a Lovely Series

I think I have only read one other Irene Hannon book, a suspense. This is an absolutely lovely start to the series. I'm listening to them all. I'm impressed both by the story world development and the author's voice and interesting characters. The narrator does a good job on this. Highly recommend.

The issues each character had was developed and resolved by the completion of this loving and magical story. Thoroughly enjoyed Irene Hannon and Therese Plummer the author and narrator.

What a beautifully written novel

The other day I was going to do a little deep cleaning and organizing in my catch-all room and its closet. I was only going to spend a couple hours because the job, quite frankly, is overwhelming. I set up my phone in the window sill and turned on Hope Harbor. Imagine my surprise when I was wrapping the job up 8 hours later! A perfectly cleaned, organized and even partially painted room! I didn't want to leave Hope Harbor! It was 2am, the job was done and the bed wasn't calling, it was shouting! There was about 80 mins left and I finished it on my commute. I actually felt a little sad and empty when it was over. There aren't many books that make me feel that way, but I was so deeply enmeshed in the story, the town and it's people I felt like I already missed them. I came on to find another book, imagine my delight to see the word "Book 1" following the title! Yippee! I'm going back to Hope Harbor and I'm so excited. That should be enough to tell anyone how good this book is, without getting into the plot, or any details of the well developed characters that become part of your life as you're listening to this wonderful novel.
