From Start to Finsh

Listened to it in one go. I wasn't as excited about Nina until she started showing her caring nature toward Ramon. This was a very delicate but strong story about the challenges of a young leader and his contracted special wife. Definitely love in the most unlikely place.

The talent for the narration brought made me lose my breath a few times.

Painted Scars is a very light mafia romance read. Pakhan mafia boss Roman needs a wife and Nina needs her dad not to be killed for taking money from the Russian Bratva. It was meant to be a six-month contract except Roman is smitten by his kooky wife and Nina is charmed by the not so scary bossman. The originality of the heroine was refreshing; she even constructed and acted upon personas for situations, indulging the antihero, and both were left laughing.

This was a good book. I love the storyline, different style. l like 👍
