Catharina never disappoints

My favorite author. I don’t need no preview, I know she never disappoints….and she didn’t with this one!

Great story

Very different . I liked the plot. If you like romance but want a new story twist instead of same old story boy meets girl, someone cheats .. yada yada. This is something different. Lots of struggles but lots of opportunities for growth. I thought the female lead was a little to cry baby. But that’s just me. I think I like the rough ones
Teddy was great, as always. He could read a phone book and I would like it. Lucy is most definitely a good narrator but I don’t know if Andi would have been a better pick for this.. not sure yet.

i could not put this story down. I listened to all 3 books continuously.

I didn’t like the way the voices sounded so similar to each other. I would like more variety

Mixed feelings

I liked the basic concept of a sweet, enduring romance but thought the storyline was a bit weak. I listened to all three books in the trilogy. Overall, good but not great. They could have been condensed. This book, as with the others, felt drawn out at times. I got so sick of the back and forth…I love you but can’t be with you, I’m crazy about you but can’t stay…yada yada. Emilia seemed to always be crying or upset or questioning herself or someone else. The waffling drove me nuts. I didn’t like her character as much as I liked Carter. There were many aspects that didn’t seem realistic. Even Teddy Hamilton’s stellar performance couldn’t keep my aggravation at bay. Lucy Rivers was fabulous too. I would not listen to this again.
