Oh, it’s so good to be back! This is my first time re-reading this series, one of my favorites, and I’m loving it even more the second go around.

Morana has had her computer codes stolen, and she’s pretty sure the culprit is Tristan Caine, known in mafia circles as The Predator for his lethal skills. Morana intends to kill him, but what she doesn’t know is that Tristan has been intending to kill HER for a VERY long time…

The tension in this one is so thick. And what’s so amazing is that Tristan can cause so much lusty tension with just a LOOK…and we, the reader, can’t even see him! (👏 RuNyx)

Morana and Tristan’s story is so complicated and emotionally charged, you can’t help but root for them through all the messy feelings.

(I do have to say, on a re-read, I loved the little glimpses of my absolute favorites, Dante & Amara. Just enough to whet my appetite while I await the rehash of their story. 🖤🖤)

Loved it!

Wish it were told differently as with more of Tristan chapter but still great! The intensity and mystery were awesome !! But the reveal was even better!! Loved the brother!

Ms. Vitalio

Ms. Vatalio is something else when she broke into Tristan house and pulled out the knives one at his neck and side asking for the drive. And told him that she will carve his heart out. They love is out of this world. And then when he said her “you’re death is mine “ took my breathe away.

Entertaining

It is well written with great detail. You get to really know the characters but still trying to piece them together. Not slow at all the dark romance isn’t too dark that you don’t like him or question her mental state.

Very well done

The story itself is dark and intense, but beautiful in those same ways. FYI: Tristian speaks only once and towards the end. Not a complaint, just an FYI. I loved the story, but did keep wondering when we would hear from him. I got excited when I finally did and then immediately felt terrible (I’ll understand). The second book really does add so much more to the story. Highly recommend.
