I went into this thinking it’d be a reimagining of the classic story we all know. But this ended up being pretty different than what I expected. It was not bad but it did fall a bit flat for me. I personally couldn’t really get into it. Sadly, will it be continuing the series.

Beauty & the Beast retelling… kind of?

It is dark, I will say that first, but it was (to me) a fantastic retelling! It was dark and twisted but there was lore behind the characters. So good! I need to get the sequels!

I need to know more!!

The narrators are great the writing not so much I couldn’t really get attached to the characters and the writing just kind of kept going on and on like it could’ve been shorter. I mean you know what the plot is already because it’s a beauty and the beast romance, so why so much going round and round with the writing? It just seemed weird Anyways I will not be spending money to get booked to even though book one leaves on a cliffhanger, I just don’t wanna do it anymore.

Mah not good enough for me to buy book two
