This was a great book and kept me interested throughout the whole story. I love a well written dark romance with a mean bruiting antihero, mix that with the male narrators deep sexy voice and boom you have yourself a perfect 5 star combination. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

What was the weird southern accent?

No character
The main characters of this story were boring. They did not carry the story along and I found myself wanting to know more about Walcott and Hendricks. Bianca’s little brother was more interesting. I found myself bothered by the age difference also. I don’t care what the age of consent is, there is no way fictional or real without perversion is a 30 year old enforcer attracted to a 17 year old girl. And she was a girl by all means. Naïve, immature in that teenage way, and in high school!! I don’t want to read part 2.

Why a southern accent??!!
Desiree Ketchum uses a southern accent for Tiernan and it makes no freaking sense. He's a native New Yorker and every time she does Tiernan's voice I cringe so hard. It sucks too, because everything else in the narration is really good but GAH! it annoys me!
