Good Story but

Beware that this is a three book series. I am not going beyond the first book so this review is just for book one. The MFC is 17.5 and a junior in high school. With this said, she has endured more pain than normal adults. She feels like everyone in her life has abandoned her. She tries to find “love” in every guy (three of them) that shows her attention. The MMC’s all have issues and refuse to talk about them. This series is probably good, but it is too long and repetitive without getting to the guts of the story.

heartbraking

I listen to this on audible the narration is great and the different point of view from each of the characters adds to the story As each character starts to reveal their true selves it just adds to the intrigue. The cliff hanger at the end of book one is oh my God God I do believe This is a must read series Another great book from this author can't wait for book 2.

I'd like to say kudos and bravo to Kendall and Jeremy for their amazing narration, you really brought the characters to life!

I pride myself. I'm leaving five star reviews. Here are my thoughts pros and cons you decide.....

Overall, it's a fun book if you're looking to ease your mind and dive into something super sexy with lots of "dirty talk" ... this could be your next favorite book! (WARNING- HOT STUFF BABY!) ❤️‍🔥

Overall, the characters are interesting, the pace is quick, lots of hot romance scenes, and detailing! EKKK SENSATIONAL!

The only thing about this book I didn't care for was Zack's demeanor. I thought he was mentally unstable, a complete creeper/ borderline rapist. I personally would've written him... just angry or awkward but the way our author wrote him he seemed completely unhinged. I felt bad for our leading gal River.... she was completely used and abused by this guy. Since her character was so young, she really didn't have ANY common sense to make proper decisions in her life ....and was completely taken advantage of by this guy! UHH! I was super on the fence about their sex scenes, not necessarily because of her age because most people are sexually active in real life after 15 anyway~ let's face the facts folks! But because his demeanor was so erratic and borderline violent, I felt bad for Rivers character. There were a couple of parts that were very very cringe worthy. However, the rest of the book was interesting and kept a fast pace.

In general, it is a very sexy listen! Namaste Romance lovers! ❤️‍🔥

So the first book is nothing but them TRYING to hook up. I’m having a hard time going g to second book because these boys have disrespectful to her it’s really kind of pathetic

Totally baffled.

How any person can rate this story above 2 or 3 stars completely vexes me. It’s beyond simply being formulaic. There is nothing here - literally nothing - that compels me to keep listening.

And the female’s narration of male dialogue is horrendous. It sounds luke she’s gargling gravel.

The cliffhanger at the end was like a carnival worker’s weak attempt to lure one into staying on the ride.
