This was a great series!

This was a great series! Book 3 is the final book and is so full of the troubles they have to face for their HEA. The ending didnt have this huge showdown that most books have and honestly was quite refreshing. MMC ends the book still being dominant in a vanilla relationship.

Kept me at the edge of my seat, biting my nails. Fantastic story, I want more Ember and Christopher!.

storyline

I thought the plot kept my interest. Smart to make a series. Was a smart move to make me buy all 3. Enjoyed the characters and naration.

Taken Bride by Alta Hensley (book 3 of The Secret Bride series)

This supposed third book of the series “The Secret Bride”, is just really one long book divided into three …in my opinion. Just another way to inflate the price by breaking the story into three and using 2 cliff hangers so the people keep buying the books to hear the true ending. These are wonderful and interesting “books”, just overpriced by the time you pay for three. Be aware there’s a lot of trauma and graphic sex. Definitely a dark, contemporary romance saga, involving arranged marriages, brutal and complicated relationships, horrific murders and a serial killer. I found the story to be unique and the writing to be excellent, However, I think that using cliffhangers to lead the reader to another book purchase is foul, manipulative and cheating the reader financially and emotionally.
