From the Wall Street Journal best-selling author of 44 Chapters About 4 Men (inspiration for the Netflix Original series Sex/Life) comes a dark Mafia romance steeped in Irish folklore.

I can’t remember anymore if my grandfather’s eyes were blue or green, but I’ll never forget the way they wrinkled at the corners when he laughed at one of his own jokes. Or the way they sparkled with mischief when he told me tales about the magical creatures that dwelled in the forest behind his humble Irish sheep farm—shy fairies who liked to eat tea biscuits, cruel witches who liked to eat children, a moody lake spirit with a taste for expensive gifts.

As a child, I believed every fantastical word. But when he warned me about the mute boy who also lurked in those woods, the one the priest had declared to be the spawn of Satan himself, I refused to listen. Kellen wasn’t evil. He was kind, and beautiful, and special, and hurting. He was my friend. And with every summer I spent stolen away with him in those enchanted woods, he grew to become so much more.

But when I return to Glenshire as an adult, grieving and engaged to someone else, all those legends quickly morph into nightmares.

My grandfather had been right about everything, especially the boy.

If only I had listened.

Warning: If you are a sensitive listener or find certain topics to be emotionally triggering, please exercise self-care and select a different book. Devil of Dublin is intended for mature audiences who enjoy dark subject matter, tortured antiheroes, explicit adult content, graphic violence, heart-pounding suspense, fairy-tale-worthy love, and gorgeous Irish scenery. If that sounds like you, then welcome to Glenshire!

A dark brooding Irishman. NEED I SAY MORE?

Honestly, I was lucky enough to get early access to this book and it destroyed me. It’s all I could think about for weeks. There’s a playlist made by the author, BB Easton, in the back of the book and it is FLAWLESS. It creates the perfect ambiance to have while you read. From the very beginning it was the mythical realism that drew me into this story. There is just enough to take you back to when you were little and fairies were something you really thought you could find in the woods. I’ve never been to Ireland but as I read I felt like I could almost feel the grassy field beneath my feet. The character development for both the male and female leads were spot on. Kellen is mysterious and declared by the priest to be the spawn of Satan. Pure evil…or is he? Darby, a sweet innocent soul who always sees the good in everything but has a strength within her that even she doesn’t quite realize. Together it makes for one hell of a dark but fated love story. Full of suspense and grit that will keep you racing through the pages needing to know what happens next. 10/10. I’ll be recommending this book to anyone who will listen.

Phenomenal read by BB Easton.

I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect with this book, I was just excited for another BB Easton! Definitely some very heavy subjects but written very well and personally felt in a non-triggering way. At the young age of 8, Darby started coming to Ireland to visit her grandfather. While out looking for fairies from fables she has heard, she stumbles upon Kellan, who is know as the devil. No more than a child himself, he speaks to no-one and is essentially homeless, living in the church with a priest. The connection between Darby & Kellan is unbreakable, coming back through her childhood until her mother passes away. RetUrning to Dublin only after the death of her grandfather, her fiancé essentially attacks her. Her savior is none other than the Devil himself. Easton now takes us on a story full of twists, turns and truths. Can this couple overcome all they endure and have endured over the years and move forward with their life? You will need to read to learn about this couple, all the good & bad.

I loved the development of the characters. However, this does have some very emotional passages that may contain triggers. BB killed it with this one. The performance by Eric Nolan and Elizabeth Klett was top notch.

Must read!

This audio book was amazing and the two narrator’s were great, but Eric Nolan brought the fire and passion to the character…… worth the credit indeed. Now I gotta find an Irish man with that smoldering accent. I would be putty in his hands ❤️❤️❤️

Oh my narrator is 🔥🔥

Eric Nolan is amazing. I read several reviews criticizing Klett's performance but I get why they used her. It's a comparison. Tough guy vs innocent girl. Nolan though...he's the real deal. Another Troy Duran or Teddy Hamilton or Jason Clarke. Welcome to the bigs, Eric. Hope to listen to more of your narration in the future. Excellent!
