Publisher's summary

"Well, this sucks! I know, preachers aren't supposed to talk that way. But from time to time, churchy words just don't seem to convey what's truly going on in the soul."

Through humor and real-life stories of pain, Steve Hinton looks honestly at tough questions about God, self, and life. While some of these questions might seem shocking coming from a preacher, they are the questions that many of us ask late at night when the lights are out. Confessions is an audiobook for:

  • Those who have honest doubts about God's goodness and love
  • Those seeking to know their true identity in a world of mixed messages about humanity, God, and themselves
  • Those who have faced years of unanswered prayer
  • Those trying to make sense of a broken life and feelings of an absent God

It is Steve's desire that you will discover the love of Christ at a deeper level. Come along on the journey of Confessions and uncover a renewed hope for your life.

Great Roadtrip Read.

Being RT, I've watched alot of this book unfold firsthand. Steve, however, weaves an honest emotion through these realities that keeps you seeking more. Nathan reads this prose with clarity and the right intensity to bring the truths to life. If you struggle and have struggled with the doubts in your faith be encouraged by these confessions.

An authentic Christian’s Journey

Steve shares one man’s authentic journey in following Jesus. He shares how his life was shaped, challenged, and lead by a faithful Heavenly Father. A great book for any disciple that is dealing with doubt or discouragement. An important read for those entering 8th ministry. A devotional book that allows the listener to hear God’s word and meditate on the big things of life. Steve’s tone is conversational, approachable, and honest. I was glad I listened to the book and look forward to sharing it with others. The narrator does a great job.

An encouraging read

Steve presents a real life story of a man walking with Jesus. Devoid of all the celebrity pastor hype he makes a real case for us to serve God. Despite our doubts and mess ups God can and will use us. I will have the privilege of getting to know Steve deeper as I interview him for my podcast.
