Pretty Good

There is some good teaching and encouragement in this book. A lot of it is “guilt trips” or pointing out the general lack of prayer in churches and Christian organizations. About a third of the book is stories of people and have Christ and not necessary A focus on prayer I particular. I really liked that Jim read the book himself.

Strong Through The Storm

This book really helped me to clearly understand the difference between cultural and Biblical Christianity of today. He strongly proclaims Christ and how we can have God’s power in our lives and churches. He helped me to know how to witness to those lost to the ungodly culture through love instead of alienation without compromising the Biblical truths.
