Enjoy the story!

Louise Bay books are fun and easy reading. Unfortunately the narrator Imogen Church made this book dreadful to listen, she made Darcy's voice childish not representing the character's personality.

Another great story

Shane East is my absolute FAVORITE narrator! Imogene was just ok.
I love this entire series.

Imogen... come on, lady

I'm not convinced Imogen has ever listened to an audiobook. Or maybe her preferences are just different. I HATE the dramatic over-enunciation and haughty sound she gives the main character. Darcy is in her 20s... not her 80s. Don't get me started on the American "accent" that wasn't performed even remotely close to how people regularly talk. Thankfully that was short-lived.
Shane East was great.
I like Louise Bay's writing for the most part. Some parts are a little drawn out, but still good. It's a good story.

like the story

I really liked the story and love this particular male narrator. the female narrator had me skipping thru her bits. her voice made me cringe. sounded like she was constantly trying not to cry or breathe. great story line though.

I couldn't finish--

I love Shane East's narration, but the female narrator reminded me to much of Mary Poppins. I tried to finish but hated to dnf. I really loved the others books in this series though.
