I liked their chemistry. I like the trauma she was going through that made her hold back. But nothing else really stood out for me.

I loved this book

The main characters were so good. I loved the male lead! He was sweet and kind but alpha in bed! So hot!

A good couple

Worth is a lovely MMC, and he absolutely deserved Sophia every step of the way. He is the "dad" of his friend group -- always looking out for everyone but himself. His backstory was interesting, and I liked the subplot with his sisters. He instantly falls for Sophia, but he thinks about what everyone else wants first. When it becomes clear that he has a clear field, he takes his chance immediately, but he is also respectful of Sophia's situation. She has had bad news from her family, but she isn't ready to talk about it. Hanging out with Worth is the perfect distraction for her because he is such a great guy. It doesn't take long for her to realize that she needs to encourage him to think of himself, too. They make a balanced couple with terrific chemistry.
The audiobook is very good too. Grayson Owens was new to me, and I liked his calm delivery for Worth. Samantha Brentmoor did her usual lovely job with the emotion and humor.

Fun, heartfelt, and sizzling romance!

I really enjoyed listening to this fun, heartfelt, and sizzling romance. Worth and Sophia have instant chemistry from their first moment. They have fun together while in Vegas for their friends wedding, and feel a deep connection. Worth knows she is his forever when he acts out of character suggesting they get married. Sophia learned a family secret that has changed her mind on love, but she likes Worth and agrees to the wedding, thinking they will annul it when they get home. But when they get home, they really enjoy each other so much, they decide to date while keeping their marriage secret. But what will happen when family complications arise, and their new feelings are put to the test? Will they be strong enough to fight for each other, or even want to? Worth and Sophia’s story is sweet, heartwarming, emotional, and sizzling hot. They are both so great together and I cheered hard for their HEA. My heart broke for what Sophia was struggling with, and I could empathize with her feelings and actions. Worth was so protective and caring, and I loved his patience with his sibling's and Sophia. I really enjoyed all their friends and family who added so much support and fun, and some tension as well, making this story even better.
Samantha Brentmoor and Grayson Owens did a great job bringing these characters and story to life. They are so easy to listen to as they flawlessly deliver all the fun banter, emotion, and steam. They made this romance even more captivating and delightful.
