Engaging unique fantasy

I appreciated the complex twists and turns this story traveled to reveal all the secrets that bound together the characters. My one complaint is that although I found the narrator’s voice very lovely, I couldn’t understand her well, and so I had to listen at a slower speed and higher volume than any other audiobook I’ve read.
