Most stories were enjoyable. Russ, Mechanicum, Knights Errant, fun stories all around. And best of all, in my opinion, Oll Person has a short story to catch us up on where he and the other Calth survivors have been spending the past few years.

Another good anthology from the Horus Heresy

I’ve come to dread the short story collections over the last few books but this was a surprisingly good collection.

Refreshing

I think this anthology really was great in contextualizing various angles of participants across this series. Showcasing the various stories calling back to how arduous this war has been, and how betrayal and corruption mark all involved. The last two stories were my favorite in showing the challenges that the characters faced during the Horus Heresy, more variety of unsung heroes leading up to the Siege.

A nice reprieve before the end

Some good some great few that nobody will care about but Wolf King for my Wolves out there

The Wolf King

Other than cybernetica that dragged on for what felt like a year, this is a very strong set of short stories and novellas. Stand outs were Wolf King, Ordo Sinister and Binary Succession.

A rare anthology that stands on its own
