An okay listen

I enjoyed this story most of the time, except it did have moments where I felt it was a little goofy sounding. I am torn between thinking it was the story itself or the narration and I’m leaning more toward the narration being the problem. The story itself was predictable, though there were good moments of drama and a few sexy scenes. The heroine, for being a genius scientist, sounded kind of brainless at times. The hero just sounded like I’d expect him to. Overall it’s an okay listen if you don’t want to have to pay close attention while you’re listening.

Big Ego

This was a wonderful storyline except for the unrealistic pit fighting with Sara; always the inflated ego. I love storyline’s that includes humor and this book did not disappoint. Beth does a great job with characters; however, the addition of a male narrator for male characters would enhance the experience.

Easy to get lost

Definitely worth getting. The narrator does a great job of bringing the characters to life. You easily can get lost in what the H/h go through. I finished this in one go. I’m sure you will too.

I’m new to audible, this was a great story to listen to, while driving. I loved it! I hope to get some more stories from this author for sure!!!
