Pretty good.

The near endless victims of senseless killing was a bit bothersome, but Lucas Davenport is still a cool guy.

Sandford/Davenport define thriller perfection.

OK, once again I’ve come to the end of this entire series. There remains one last thing terribly wrong. I’ve got to wait too long for the next Davenport or Flowers novel. Grumble.

Where does Gathering Prey rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Among the top ten. I have listened to all 25 Prey Novels by Sandford and I think Richard Ferrone narrated all but 1 book. He is fantastic! He is LUCAS DAVENPORT! What a great voice! I truly hope Sandford uses him for all of his books until he stops writing. Also, with that voice he would be great narrating detective, mystery, horror etc. Check his voice out!

Who was your favorite character and why?

Letty, Sandford developed her character wonderfully. She was a pleasure to have added to the series! I love the way he made her just like him.

Have you listened to any of Richard Ferrone’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

The same as all of the others, he's wonderful!!!!

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I not only listened to it but I read it in one sitting. (Immersion Reading)

Yes, Richard Ferrone made these books.The way he brought Del, Sloan, and Lucas' other buddies come to life was amazing. He had me laughing when certain characters came in because of their personalities and the way he and Sandford played with them throughout the years. There has to be some kind of camaraderie for them to have a relationship like that for so many years! I just hope this wasn't "their" last Prey book!!!!!

I loved this latest Lucas Davenport book. The ending has me wondering what is going to happen! Great read!

Great read. Love the maturing Letty. All the characters ring true. Written so well, that one can imagine every scene like a movie in your head.

I wondered if this book would end like this. Wont ruin it for everyone.
I still worry about Mr. Sandford though. He thinks this stuff up.
...as long as he never acts on this stuff.

Loved all the main characters. First time reading this author. Will be reading more. Will have to check other series.

A great read!

Favorite writer, second favorite character (Lucas), after Sandford's Virgil Flowers. Great reader, great story. I often listen again to old Sandford books after disappointing ones from new authors.
