What did you love best about The Pursuit of God?

I enjoyed the topic and shorter chapters (about 20-30 min per section) and the prayers at the end

Who was your favorite character and why?

there were no characters

What does Mark Moseley bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I had to slow down to 0.9 x to follow - seemed a bit fast for the subject matter. he does inflect and emphasize certain sections

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I think I would have enjoyed it more if I'd been able to sit undisturbed to listen all at once instead of listening while driving and working

I did have to slow this one to 0.9x speed

A classic that is refreshingly contemporary

This was my second book by Tozer in a little over a month, so I'm on the Tozer bandwagon. The author reminds us that God "is". The "I am" is here, eternally and simultaneously in your and my presence. To put it more like Tozer, we're always in HIS presence, if only we would acknowledge him. And that is what Tozer will help you to do, see the invisible God.
