But if our everyday life is filled with the barrenness of busyness and there is no serious urgency to pray, we forfeit the wonder of being conformed to the image of Christ and knowing our God more intimately - the true Christian life.

Hail these words
This is a must read for all Christians. I recommend you ask The Lord to open your heart and mind to receive this message. Tozer explains succinctly what The Lord promises and what He will do for us as we take all ourselves to the cross. Backed up by scripture. Hard to take in if you're still in the world and essential to your growth in Jesus.
