Publisher's summary

Kawika (pronounced Ka-vi’-ka) is a happy, slightly rebellious, young man who finds adventure in everything he does. He loves his computer, but often gets in trouble from his parents for being so absorbed in it. As I prepared to move to Hawaii, my husband and I stayed with our oldest daughter and her family. We watched the antics of our grandchildren, Kawika and Ihilani, bringing a laugh a minute, just being around them. My husband and I live on the island of Oahu in beautiful Hawaii. We have five children, nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild, as of the printing of this book. Being around them brings such a feeling of joy, love and a beautiful youth back into our lives. Kawika-The Boy Who Lived in His Room is the first of a sequel of books I have in my heart and mind. It is geared towards “tweens” and anyone else with the heart of a child. I am writing this series along the lines of a modern-day “Chronicles of Narnia”. There are and will be many exciting adventures and truths that will make you want to read it and beg for more. I pray that this book will make you smile all the way through it, as it did for me to write it. I want to thank Lighthouse Christian Publishing for giving me the chance to publish this book and to continue to write sequels that will bring laughter, joy and, sometimes, even tears, to your heart. Thanks to my family for supporting me and letting me know that my work, inspired by God, is worthy of this publication and honor. I can’t wait to see what happens next in this life of a mischievous, adventurous boy and his family. Janet Culliton Author
