Frank lived for his three sons, busting his back to see they thrived in comfort. His good for nothing wife, she made him the happiest man in the world when she finally agreed to his divorce terms. His glorious day turned to ruin when an explosion hurls him through an unformed portal connection.

Lost to eternity and stuck in the void, a happenstance encounter allows him to relocate to the fantasy world of Dorbin. There's a drawback to Dorbin. It's a violent planet filled with ruthless cutthroats, hideous mythical creatures, and all the activities a heathen could ever wish for. Even the national militaries turn a blind eye to the atrocities, only enforcing the laws when they see fit.

The designer of Dorbin calls themselves the Creator. The Creator established a system of kiosks for trading, point tracking, and quest rewards. The being is all powerful and incredibly uncaring, and yet, they gave him a second chance. He arrives marred from the explosion, unable to speak the local language, and about infinitely cleaner than anyone else on the planet.

The challenges for Frank will be steep, the learning curve arduous, and the chances of going home are slim to none. It doesn't take long for Frank to realize there's no place in Dorbin for the weak or the meek. If he wants to survive, he will have to earn it and the ends sure as hell justify the means; especially when he selects to become an arena manager - a dominus of the pits.

Warning: This book is set in a brutal fantasy world that predates modern society's values. It contains violence, gore, slavery, and other grimdark traits along with fantastical beings and LitRPG elements. Think Game of Thrones with bloody gladiator fighting, mercenary teambuilding, and set from one man's perspective. If you don't have the stomach for such content, have a nice day. If you want action, violence, and to be entertained, welcome to Team Zeppelin.

This Is a great story for a specific fan base.

Those that will really love this book are those that find more joy in the build up and growth to get to a grand battle vs the battle itself. The MC is a make or break point for me when I am deciding to purchase books so for those like me I will speak on him without spoiling. The MC he is practical and pragmatic. He is the perfect blend of not being an overly cold asshole and a too soft Japanese MC. Willing to put himself 1st , would murder and steal if he has to with no hesitation but still looks out for the little people. In terms of his skill sets it Is a grind. There is no windfall where he is gifted by God's or anything. He slowly but surely builds himself up. He is not a major combatant, again, If you want to see an MC swing a sword and beat a demon lord this isnt for you. This is for the development fans.

Overall it's good

There are a lot(at least in my opinion) of inconsistencies in the reading. Sometimes the narrator won't change voices when it is obvious someone else is talking, or they will after they finish and just say the line again. After finishing the book I can think back to at least three occasions where he skipped a paragraph or something, and twice where he repeated the same line three times. All in all I like the books I just wish that it was edited correctly.

a great team building series the detail in this title was great it wasn't so overly done to make it tedious. the amount of time vs the credit invested made me extremely happy that I got this

An amazing series and huge 43+ hour boxset!

This is a great Isekai series by Chad Opo. The world and characters are well developed, the action and plot more at a nice pace, and the overall stories are fun and engaging the entire time. Audio Version: Marcus Jahn and Alexa Roosevelt worked amazingly well together through the entire series. Each did a great job with their characters!

Good Story, narrator leaves much to be desired

I enjoyed the story. The narration not so much. How to describe it? Hmm. Okay. It's like going to a good highschool play. The kids get the job done, and they're entertaining. But they arent as good as a big name venue where the quality is much better. Dude over acts and reacts while reading and is annoying. It wasn't bad enough for me to return for my credit but not good enough where I'll listen again. do yourself a favor and listen to a sample before committing. It doesn't get better.

Fantastic Series

This was an amazing series from beginning to end. The story evolution kept me wanting to know more at all times.

Excellent narration duo. The narrators did an amazing job with all the characters and really kept the story moving.

as the title says the person they got to read this series is so cringe super cringe in fact not bad enough not to like the story but it's a damn close race. if you're bored spend an extra credit if not I'd pass.
