great story

I thought it was different from the rest of storys like this but it is in good taste and I would recommend it to anyone over 18

First three books were fine, but I couldn’t keep going for the rest

Spoiler warning but if the world’s population is reduced to 1 billion people because of an external invasion, the last thing anyone will care about are laws relating to schooling and business. When that’s your priority over counterattacking, you have major problems.

one glaring issue

I have a few issues with this series. the first and most outrageous is the authors political view points. he claims that the "bad orange man" would sell out his country which is exactly what libs would & are doing. please leave your politics out! would have been better if you had made up the government situation.
the second issue is with the over descriptions. why do I need to know which direction on to which street or highway you are traveling? I'm not going to pull up Maps to check how correct you are.
third, who disassemble their firearm every single time someone (that is trusted) hands it back to you? clearing it & doing a function check I understand & agree with. but do we need to read about it? the answer is no.
the author writes in a way that make him feel that he is more righteous than thou. there's a difference between being a decent person and being a virtue signaling douche.
if this doesn't bother you or you can get passed it (like I did), it's not a bad read/listen. the magic & travelers are interesting and not too complicated.

Very well done book series

I was engaged throughout this series and I thoroughly enjoyed the whole thing. I liked how the MC adjusted his interaction with each character depending on their characteristics. He was very unflappable as well. He took everything in stride and was very solutions oriented. I also liked his side job. I have hired people like him to do those functions in the past. It made him seem real. The only few complaints I had was the other necromancers should have had the MCs abilities even without his power leveling but they didn’t seem to be as effective as MC yet MC was untrained until he got the books from magnus. His five great grand father should have been scarier and more capable. Also a guy who entraps an Angel should be more capable yet he ended up being weak. Finally Judith was a big disappointment as a Witch. I wish she would have had more impact and she could have done more training with Rebecca. The last encounter with her and her necromancer friend was really weak. Nothing is perfect and overall this series was great and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I just can't get enought of these, it was just so good and I didn't want it to end

The mix of fantasy and reality.

I loved the character progression. I loved how when a character was introduced you fell in love with them even if they are a bad guy. There was parts I wanted to scream at because of what was happening to some characters, I wanted the MC to not allow one part to happen at all. It was so good it caused me to get really hight anxiety. The event was some what prevented, but I was still extremely upset. It latter worked it's self out.

The voice actors really tried to give life to each character they voiced. They both had great range of voices and personality to those voices.

I got so attached to everyone that I was extremely sad that the series is done. I wanted to see more about the family.

good books

ik, bad title, however it is a good book series. the only real complaint I have is wholly on me as it wasn't what I was expecting, but it still drew me in and I love the series. however, while there could've been more character representation for some of them, it is easy to like and get attached to the characters.

great story, but lots of narration issues.

many many skipped sentences throughout the books like parts were accidentally cut out during editing, and most of the more exotic names tend to be lazily mispronounced by the male narrator. great story, and good narration outside of the issues above
