hmmm
the characters make alot of questionable decisions for real gamers, and i'm pretty sure the author forgot that he put in the option for a teleporter in the last book to the radio tower that brad passed over due to cost, but then reversed gear in this book by making all the muses think teleporters weren't an option. it's a pretty good series at times, but honestly the ammount of combat dialog and attention characters can put into others fights while they're fighting are a bit unrealistic and distracting, and the ammount of progress in the timeline for a bunch of gamers is underwhelming, you're talking a month in, and their base isn't well developed at all with 3d printers, even after the mass of taxed ether from the war with the elves?
i like brad and sam, but jake's pov with all the cultivator repitition isn't very well done. it's very much an example of an author trying to cram too many genre's into a story.

Book 4 is out now!
The other reviewer who said this was the end of the series mislead the listeners. Why a person would do that i do not know. So this is not my favorite series but it is ok. Good enough if you don't mind some mistakes by the author or it being a bit predictable at times. For me, I still found it worth a credit.

i still liked it
there is a battlefield earth story going on. in there, Johnny gets ahold of the ailens transportrr tech. although net a new idea, it shows the humans to be resourceful and will work well for the remainder of this series.

Could have been great.
I don't know why the author decided to do multiple pov...I hate that in a book. I don't remember the first one being that way.
The story itself is very good. Lots of action...good system in place....decent narration.
It wasn't a waste of a credit but I was disappointed.
