Publisher's summary

Oliver likes writing, reading, and the feel of satin and lace against his body. He also talks way too much when he’s nervous, knows more trivia facts than any man should, and is about as good at dating as he is at skiing - which is to say, completely and totally inept.

David’s never been with a man before, despite recognizing that some men make his pulse race and his body heat. But no one has ever made him as hot as his newest ski student - adorable, athletically challenged Oliver.

David’s never been into casual hookups, though, and Oliver’s in Wyoming for only a week - barely long enough to teach the man to ski, let alone convince a risk-averse guy like Oliver to give their relationship a shot.

Changing their entire lives based on one amazing week might be a recipe for disaster. But the greatest disaster of all might be playing it safe.

Opposites Attract...with lace

Introvert Oliver is dragged to a family reunion/vacation at a ski resort. Outdoorsy David agrees to visit a ski resort with his best friend. After a humorous mix-up with Oliver's ski lessons, David ends up saving Oliver multiple times.
Silvia Violet is a one-click author for me. Her works has humor, lots of steam, lower angst, and sometimes a dash of kink. Anticipating Disaster has all of those things.
If you are familiar is with M/M audiobooks, you most likely know Michael Pauley/Dean's work. Michael is fabulous voice actor and always brings his 'a' game to the books he preforms. This is true for this book, too. Michael brings all the characters to life and does a wonderful job portraying the various people's personalities.
I highly recommend this book!!!

Good Book ! Recommend

I really enjoyed this book. Although I’m not always ready to buy in on “Insta-love”... this book made me a believer for the most part. The “taboo” topic was handled well without over the top sexuality but also with a lot of heat.
I feel like there could have been just a little more substance to the book but it wasn’t so lacking that I didn’t enjoy it a great deal!

Great Book

I enjoyed the book and narration. It's similar to other stories I have read but sometimes just listening to a happy, slightly angtsy novel with a HFM HEA is just what you want to read.

Great audiobook

I really enjoyed this audiobook. It’s a nice story with some family drama, a cold vacation, and some hot moments.
Michael Pauley, like always, did a fantastic job bringing this book to life and making it even more enjoyable.

Good Start To A New Series.

This was a good start. I really enjoyed listening to it. The storyline was nice Oliver and David are a good fit. I am a fan of Silvia Violet and have listened to many of her books. I think she's a wonderful author. Very creative and keeps you interested. The only little complaint I have with the story was Oliver, he was just a little to fragile and scary for me. I mean, ok, it's a cold place, quit complaining, suck it up, get over it, and live your life. He shouldn't have been such a delicate flower. But I still liked him. That's the only reason I didn't give it 5☆s across the board. Michael Pauley, what can I say, he's one of the best voice actors out here. I'm now starting book2 and looking forward to see where SV will take it. If it's anything like her pervious stories we are in for a treat. I recommend this book. In fact, I'm telling my sister to also download it on her adubile. Keep up the good work Silvia Violet!😊

I’m glad there are more books following this one.

Go Grandma Go. I love how much she pushed ( with love) Oliver to try things out of his comfort zone. Have to love a story that makes you feel all warm and squishy. Hope grandmother has another of her family in her crosshairs for the next book!
