Good tips

I Love the helpful tips and advice. She was able to summarize years of experience and wisdom into a book. I enjoyed listening to this and will probably listen to this again. I am working on being a better friend and learning how to create new healthy friendships.

Completely Unrelatable

Terrible. Not helpful. Clearly the author never dealt with rejection, or other childhood traumas and setbacks. It truly seems as though the valley girl grew up and wrote a book. It doesn't stay course, i.e. she states she's going to give 7 tips for meeting friends. The first few steps are appropriate for how to meet potential friends, the remainder and majority of the steps have nothing to do with meeting others, and are about being a good friend. Her examples of ways she's embarrassed herself pale in comparison to the ways the majority of us embarrass ourselves. She in no way relates to those of us in the real world struggling with life and trauma, etc. A complete waste of time and money. A perfect read for the girls living in their perfect homes, with their perfect families, their pose of 20 perfect friends, big bank accounts, country club pools, and bleach white fences. If you grew up the misfit, fearful, struggling for a single friend, rejected, abandoned, abused, used and thrown out with the garbage this book is NOT for you. This book will make you continue to believe you're not enough.
