Very well plotted

This book keeps you engaged beginning to end. Wonderful reveals that you don't see coming. Performance is fantastic. I highly recommend

Absolutely well written! I could not stop listening! still thinking of the characters after I finished. Excellent book!

They call books like this having “surprising twists“

Although they called books like this having “unexpected or surprising twist“, I call it unnecessary complication. As I got to the last hour, I became more and more frustrated. It became so confusing about motives, and who did what to whom and why. Eventually, I stopped listening to it before the end. I think there is possibility and these sorts of books, but it gets to be so ridiculous at the end when they reveal motives. Overall unrealistically complicated

Great storytelling!

Every parent’s worst fear, in this complex tale of kidnapping. Compelling, well written and a terrific Audible production.

Good at times but also frustrating

Solid writing but some of the characters’ responses to events were beyond maddening. A few of the twists were very good but others seemed like a major stretch
