Alice in Chains has always been a big influence musically for me. Fascinated by the rise and collapse from the band particularly Layne Staley. Overall if your a big alice in chains fan this is a must have.

i really enjoyed this book the author gathered as much as he could and put together a wonderful read.

Exceeded My Expectation

I HIGHLY recommend this book! So much information, trivia, interesting info on bands like Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, Heart. So many unanswered questions. I was devastated by Layne’s death and always thought he died of a broken heart. The book confirms it. He was such a gentle soul that was never able to get out from under heroin’s death grip.

Utterly profound, a must read for the true fan

I've listened to a lot of audio books over the last few years, and I can honestly say that this is one that I will be listening to again and again.

This is a thorough telling of AIC, one of the greatest bands of all time. Layne, you are missed every day and the world is less interesting without you.

Very Good

I thought the story was one of the best you can find on AIC. It was extremely informative and a lot of the information is not very publicized so you will learn new things about the band. The narrator was solid and I thought was a good choice for this novel. Definitely worth the time and the price.

It was nice hearing how the band started. Lots of information. The details surrounding Layne Staley ‘s last years and death are just horrible.

Love AIC. Great book overall.Appreciated the history with lots of interesting details. Probably off track in a few spots...I personally would have appreciated a more expanded focus on Jerry Cantrell.I do recommend to fans !!
