Publisher's summary

On the eastern plains of the continent, Sungchul discovers a utopia.

Ixion, the city of mages, has seemingly transformed into a perfect society. It faces no shortage of resources, thanks to Vestiare of the Seven Heroes and her Colossus. However, its inhabitants have turned to the heretical worshiping of a Lesser God.

Beauty is skin deep, and this facade of perfection shrouds the intentions of the Seven Heroes: The Second Calamity. In the midst of it all, Sungchul finally begins making progress toward a more personal goal...

Great continuation of the story

RoadWarrior has quite the imagination and blends fantasy and lore so well. Nick Podehl is one of my favorite narrators, and his range of characters improves each and every story he reads.

4.8 star for the forth book

Good story pacing with good action. Fell in step nicely with the rest. The third book was my least favorite. This brought my enthusiasm back to the series. And harmonculus screeching toned way down with very little if any 👍

This is OP at its best.

if your looking for a co complicated and sophisticated main character You've come to the wrong place. The purpose of a OP character book isn't the main characters evolution it's evolution of the environment around the main character.

Enjoyable

Just enjoy the ride and maybe listen twice. Excellently orated, written and edited. Some of the voice acting audiobook levels were way off and to loud, but this is such a fun series I don’t care. Give it a chance and you will enjoy the main character and the journey.

Great voice acting except

I enjoy this voice actors work in this book and the land. The only issue was the voice of the book or Bertellgia.. why would a book from that land have a bad Harley Quinn voice ..I liked her character but not her voice or the voice of the sword the main character had

Book out ranks bloodthirsty sidekick

Road Warrior continues the series with subtle changes in previous progression in the first half but I found the addition of a new "sidekick" a pleasant jocular element. The plot still retains the intentional absurdities that helps retain this series unique qualities but also moves the stories forward with some unexpected reveals towards the end.

Nick Podehl's performance is definitely a plus for the listener.
