Story

I liked this one even better than the last one. Almost my favorite one I’ve listen to other than a tempest of shadows.

such a great read.

this book really dove into one of the relationships between the female main character and a male main character. it really will make you cry scream and laugh. definitely took me on an emotional roller coaster. the character growth is great for all of the cast. there are a few instances where abuse of some kind may be referenced or alluded to. so just fair warning to those who have suffered abuse. I know those scenes for me were very emotionally taxing. it's worth it when you get to the scenes when they make it back home and things are kind of handled, talked about, and worked out.

Great duo narrators

I really like how the female narrator reads all the female dialogue and the male narrator reads the male dialogue. They also skilled at make different voices. The story is really interesting, and will definitely listen to the next book.

Great Narration and Story!!

I love the narration by Bridget and Jake Bordeaux! So may distinctive characters. Great story!!

A lot faster paced then first book

I struggled with Rose and her total lack of back bone and self preservation in the beginning of this book. A lot happens and I don’t understand her ability to just over look the atrocities of Cade. I love a good redemption story and I am sure the next one is going to be it but I almost cheered when she finally stood up to him and heck her whole guard because seriously. She might be new but she’s the Queen in charge. There’s alot of emotional moments in this book with Cade and with out. I have to say the the whole wo debacle almost made me cry. Things in the romance department pick up and It starts getting little spicy. I will say that I love love love the red cap! He alone deserved five stars. He has kept me laughing all the way through with his antics. Narrators are amazing. Some of my favorites, they do such an amazing job every single time.
