Pretty good story, but had several corny parts.

The storyline is pretty interesting, there was several corny parts that could have been smoother or left out. Overall though it was a good story and the Narrators did great👍.

Academy -Almost Prophecy-Mystery Romance

It’s almost like we took some of the best parts of Harry Potter, the Da Vinci Code, and maybe X-men and smooshed them together with a why-choose mystery plot. I’m hooked! I love it and THAT ending?!? I’m so glad book 2 is already out so I don’t have to wait

No antagonist???

Excellent narration and likeable characters kept this book afloat, but the author needs to write in some dang conflict. This whole book we were never introduced to an enemy. Even the “mean girls” were just cameos, hurling a few insults but never creating real conflict. Set in a school, the story features a scattering of scenes that take place in classrooms, but nobody ever actually studies. It’s just flirting and pizzas and beer and sex and tattoos and “powers” that accumulate for no reason because there is no enemy to be seen other than vague dread. I hope someone mentors/ruthlessly edits this author, because someone who can write fun characters deserves to have their talent honed. Buying book 2 with fingers crossed.

What an imagination!

I was recommended this book by a friend. I had no idea what to expect when starting it. I really enjoyed this book. The author has quite the imagination. I would definitely it to anyone looking for thrill and romance! Can’t wait to start the next one.

Love the story

I had already read the books and loved them. Favorite character was defiantly Nathan. The narrator was… okay. Not spectacular but not bad either. Absolutely love the story tho.
